Indiana doesn't get enough credit in the whiskey world — but Hard Truth is changing that. Founded in 2015 in the hills of Nashville, Indiana (yes, Indiana), Hard Truth Distilling Co. built their 325-acre distillery from the ground up and pioneered a category all their own: sweet mash whiskey. Unlike the industry-standard sour mash process, sweet mash starts every batch fresh — no carry-over from previous fermentations — resulting in a cleaner, distinctly different character in the glass.

After nearly a decade of perfecting their craft, they released their first grain-to-glass bourbons in 2024, and were named Indiana Distillery of the Year by the New York International Spirits Competition shortly after. Join us for a tasting through their Sweet Mash lineup accompanied by small bites.
