About the Event

Some conversations don’t happen on stage. This is one of them.

Founded in 2011 by Jason Johnstone-Yellin and Joshua Hatton, Single Cask Nation began as a small group focused on sharing rare, single cask whisky with people who cared about what was in the glass.

Today, it stands as one of the most respected independent bottlers in the U.S.—part of a global movement that looks beyond distillery labels and into cask selection, aging, and the decisions that shape a whisky before it ever reaches a bottle.

This evening is about that world.

Join us for an intimate, off-the-record session with Jason—part tasting, part conversation. Through a lineup of Single Cask Nation bottlings, we’ll explore what defines an independent bottler, how casks are chosen, and why some whiskies only exist because someone decided to bottle them outside the system.

No script. No presentation format. Just a small room, a set of bottles, and the space to ask the questions that don’t usually get asked in public.

Expect honesty, insight, and a deeper look at how whisky actually gets from cask to glass.

Limited to 25 guests.
